User's Guide to Wooden Toys

For newly purchased wooden toys, proper ventilation and drying can be carried out to accelerate the volatilization of solvent residues and harmful chemicals on the surface.

Pay attention to the warning signs or instructions on the package. Parents should fully understand the potential hazards of improper use warned in the warning instructions, and educate their children to pay attention to when playing.

"Parts are easy to fall off" is the first hidden danger in children's toys. Small parts on toys are easy to fall off and are swallowed by children, especially infants under three years old, causing asphyxia.

Although most toys have warning instructions, considering the age characteristics of children, it is often easy to ignore the warning instructions. Parents should pay special attention to give hints before children play and monitor them during play to avoid such dangers.

It is clearly stipulated in the National Technical Code for Toy Safety (GB6675) that:

Toys used by children under 36 months of age shall not contain small parts. It is particularly important that small parts shall not be produced after multiple reasonable abuse tests such as pulling, pressing and dropping.

Toys used by children over 36 months old are allowed to contain small parts, but warning signs must be set up to inform consumers of their hidden danger of injury.

Some toys have a lot of solvent residues, friction and discoloration, which may bring toxic and harmful chemicals into the body through touching and sucking, causing potential danger. Therefore, during children's play, parents should remind children not to put toys into the mouth for sucking, and wash their hands in time after play to avoid chemicals entering the body.
